The Emperors Crown Hostel Perth Reviews
Affordable Stay in Perth Apr 20, 2012
I have stayed in the hostel for 5 days, from Feb 22-26 of 2012.
Emperor's Crown is in the North Bridge Area which is quite near everywhere. Anyway, Perth is just a small city where you can walk from place to place within few minutes.
The staffs are cool and helpful. The shared bathroom is OK. They have big kitchen where you can cook until 10PM. They have cafeteria which serves good coffee and muffins :)
The people I have known in the room are cool. A Belgian guy but has Italian roots and Scottish guy, both are actually working in Perth but staying in hostel for long-term. I think that's the trend of hostels in AU, mostly occupied by those who got holiday working visa, as the cost of accommodation and rent are expensive in AU.
The only thing I didn't like is the smell of the room, smells dead rat! LOL
But anyway, once the air-con is on, and I only here at night to sleep, that still fine.
No free breakfast, No free wifi. Mostly hostels in AU are like this.
