I've stayed at the Elan Hotel twice within the last 8 months. I paid $189/night for a room with a king size bed. It was very clean and spacious with a nice bathroom, minibar, TV, safe etc. The staff was extremely friendly and offered recommendations for restaurants, booked Sight-Seeing Tours...Compared to other hotels in L.A., especially in the West Hollywood area, the price is reasonable, in my opinion. You also get a basic breakfast in the morning with coffee, pastries, some fruit, yoghurt. You are about 7-8 minutes away from Sunset Blvd, about 10-15 minutes from Hollywood Blvd, 5 Minutes from "The Grove". The Beverly Shopping Center is right across the street. If you're looking for a nice and clean hotel in West Hollywood with acceptable rates, this is the place to go!
