Small join with good vibes Oct 14, 2011
Its a cool bar, small and when it gets full it's a pain to get from on end to the other. It is dark and has a hipster feel to it. Drinks are normal ($5-$6 beers mix drinks can be from $10 to about $20) for LA and bartenders are all nice for the most part. They also do sell by the bottle as well. Smoking has to be done out side they do not have a patio area. Not much around the area if your in to bar hopping so if you go here you might stay all night for the most part or go early and have a drink or two and then leave or have it the other way around and end the night here. Weekdays are slower and more locals come here where as weekends are a bit more alive. Good place to start then move on, but with a car or taxi.

Hip to the max May 01, 2009
This is a dimly lit, hipster joint with a nice interior design. It has a lighter edge where you won't feel the need to bust out your chinos and a tie for the night, you can wear a t-shirt and jeans and feel at home. The music is that of the alternative music crowd and art displays hang on the walls like an art gallery is moving in quietly. The drinks are pricey, like a $4.00 can of pabst. i can see maybe a tallboy being that much but lets get real. but its not a bad joint to hit up on a bar crawl for the night.
