Excellent food, reasonable price, english menu Oct 17, 2008
I found this restaurant near my hotel and later discovered it was a favorite of many expats in the area. featuring European style outdoor and indoor seating, the food is excellent and has a wide variety. The menu is in english and greek, and the english translations are very good. A large pasta menu, a wide variety of Pasta, and greek dishes, with a decent wine menu. There are also a wide variety of salads, with excellent, creative combinations and portions large enough to make a whole meal. Being a vegetarian, I was very pleased with the vegetarian options available. All the waiters spoke english well enough to easily understand and accommodate requests for variations in the menu.
Prices were not budget, but not expensive given the norm for Europe. The area was near the streets, but good placement of trees and a very small park made the ambiance very nice. Part of the EuroTrip travel blog

You know, after all the classical Greek statues, I was really expecting something better than what modern day Greek men really look like. Yep, art history has given me unrealistic expectations of what… Adventures in MultiCultural Independence |

I had already covered the traditional "girl" locations with my first two tattoos: a cross on my shoulder blade and a shamrock/trinity on my ankle. My roommate, Jen, wanted to get the Greek word for 'passion' on her foot. So I decided on the Greek words for "faith, hope, love" on my left hip. Discreet, classy, meaningful, and full… INKED! by the Acropolis |

I went for an amazing run yesterday night with two of the girls here that are on Tech's track and cross country teams and it was quite a fast-paced tempo run, but it was so awesome to talk with them and explore the National Greek Gardens. I'll be updating sometime next week, but on Monday, we leave for our boat and island hopping… Photos, yay! |
