The Counter Dublin Reviews
Custom Built Burgers Mar 16, 2011
I happened upon The Counter while walking in Dublin. I had been down Suffolk St so many times before, so the counter is relatively new to the location. I like burgers and I was hungry so I decided to see what it was all about.
The concept is great. When you get your menu you also get a sheet of ingredients that you tick of to build your custom burger, be it beef, chicken, veggie etc. If you are too lazy to do that you can order set burgers of the menus. Just a word of warning though, the more ingredients you add the costs go up.
I had a beef burger and it was great. All the ingredients are fresh and the meat is organic and humane apparently. It was one of the best burgers I've had. The fried onion strips are worth a visit alone. The service was pretty quick too. Maybe it was because it was a Monday night and the place was pretty empty. The staff were cheery and friendly explaining the concept to Counter virgins.
if you don't go to crazy on the ingredients it is pretty average in terms of pricing for city center Dublin. However like I said above, be careful with the contents.
I'll definitely be back here to sample some more choices.
