The Cotton Patch Cafe Midland Reviews
Good steak, Too Bad while I was there the university of texas got stomped by UCLA Sep 25, 2010
So far my experience with cuisine in western texas has been a bit of a disappointment. While in Midland I looked for a mom and pop steak joint but could only fine national chains. Luckily I stumbled upon the cotton patch cafe, which isn't quite a mom and pop joint, but a restaurant chain only found in texas.
The place has lots of sandwiches and meaty selections. I got the steak with shrimp. The steak was cooked just right and had the right amount of seasonings.
The shrimps were of good size, and were pretty tasty considering they were likely living in british petroleum's oily mess a few months ago!
It also came with two sides, I got an ok creaser salad covered in dressing. Also I had a loader baked potatoes which was amazing and gigantic.
The decor was fo-redneck, its a good thing.
The one problem was that during my stay the university of texas got destroyed at football... in texas football is bigger than jesus an the staff seamed upset!
