This little café sits on the edge of the oldest part of Visalia. It sits on a corner (duh) surrounded by the Capri Motel & Trailer Park, who I believe own both. Both properties were constructed in the early 1900s, and although they have seen some minor renovations they still retain almost all of the look and feel of that era. The town has grown up and beyond it leaving this old place and the motel looking out of place. This little cafe, which is only open for breakfast and lunch, serves locals the very best old-fashioned biscuits and gravy that you will ever get the chance to eat. Most people drive right on past this place. But if you know about it, you find a way to stop in for breakfast. Sunday is particularly a busy day. If you are in Visalia for breakfast and desire biscuits and gravy, this is a must! This is the way any cafe should be, good small food menu, breakfast and lunch, and friendly service.
