The Coptic Museum Feb 05, 2013
The Coptic Museum is a renovated old building which has a large collection of preserved Coptic christian historic pieces since the ancient Egyptian times.

The first floor has carved stones, art and woodwork. The second floor includes textiles, manuscripts, icons, and metalwork.

Cameras are not allowed inside the building, but you can take pictures in the outside area.

also, after you finish. do not forget visiting both of the hanging church and Saint Georgus church. you can take pictures at the hanging church but not Saint Georgus.

the ticket costs: 50L.E, 25 L.E if you are a student.
