The Church Town House Reviews

I have stayed overnight in Cardiff twice now and I have stayed at the Church Town House both times. I can not really explain why I like this place so much, I think you have to stay there to find out. The location is fantastic, it is only a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre and the castle. There is plenty of parking down Cathedral Road and it is free, what I would recommend doing once you have found a car parking space is to try and walk everywhere because you do not want to loose the space.
The Church Town House is very refreshing, although it is so near the town centre and is on a main street it is very quiet so you do not have to worry about not being able to sleep etc. Normally each room has a double bed and a single, television and a wardrobe. The wardrobe is not that big so you don’t want to bring that many clothes! Tea and coffee can be found in the room too. The décor is lovely, very light colours. The hotel is run by a lovely South African hotel manager who is on site most of the time. He is very friendly and approachable, you do not have to feel worried about asking him questions. He is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable of the area, gave my friend and I some great advice on restaurants in the town centre and taxis. In the morning you can either have free breakfast which includes cereal and a cup of tea or coffee or you can pay slightly extra and have a fried breakfast. I have never tried the fried breakfast but it smells gorgeous. Everything is cooked by the South African Hotel Manager. |
