A beautiful collection of historic artifacts at University of BC Mar 13, 2011
Almost hidden at the back of The Rare Books and Special Collections Department of UBC's Main Library is a treasure of documents, photographs, models and other artifacts collected by Drs. Wallace and Madeline Chung of Victoria, B. C. A small part of the Chunng collection has been carefully arranged and richly presented in the space devoted to it. It ranges from diaries and log-books of early explorers to documents and material relating to Canada's Immigration programs to artifacts relating to Canada's pioneer transportion company - Canadian Pacific and its Rail, steamship, airlines, land and immigration branches. If you're visiting UBC's other museums, gardens and places of interest, you should set aside time to visit this delightful exhibit.

BC is amazing, the museum in Victoria was another pleasant surprise when we visited there.
