Cheesecake Factory Oct 22, 2008
No matter where you live, you may have a chance to visit a Cheesecake Factory. I have eaten at the one in Seattle and really enjoyed it. They have restaurants in 34 states including Texas and New York.
The Cheesecake Factory serves much more than just cheesecake! That is their tag line and it is really true. I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a place that I enjoyed because I thought it was only cheesecake. But no. When you walk through the front doors, you know you're in for something special! With French limestone floors and decorative columns, hand-painted fabrics, contemporary lighting and an abundance of cherry wood, Part of The Cheesecake Factory experience is enjoying their distinctive décor. This is where they have added color and fun, from the Egyptian columns and hand-blown lighting fixtures, to the dark cherry wood and brass accents. A common décor theme found throughout the Cheesecake Factory restaurants is their murals, created by Mary D’Astugues, a former manager who launched the trend at their Redondo Beach location in 1988. These distinct murals add panache and a unique touch to each Cheesecake Factory location. You will see that the lavish decor is just the beginning… The Cheesecake Factory is a unique, upscale casual dining restaurant offering more than 200 menu selections including Appetizers, Pizza, Pasta, Seafood, Steaks, Salads, Sandwiches, and more. Their menu also features specialty dishes like Chicken Madeira, Miso Salmon, Cajun Jambalaya Pasta, and The Factory Burger. They also offer curbside to go service if you just want the food to go. I suggest that you stay. The crab cakes are so good. They are a bit pricey, but well worth the $9.00. I would suggest that to everyone who goes in and eat. The menu is quite extensive so take your time, take others with you and everyone order something different and then share. It is a fun way to have a fun evening. If you do go there and eat dinner, save room for dessert! You can try one of their 50 delicious cheesecakes and desserts such as the White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake or the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake with a cappuccino or espresso. You can enjoy the high-energy atmosphere seven days a week. They are located on Pike Street, directly across the street from the Washington State Convention Center. They have Self-parking which is available in the Pike Street garage, adjacent to The Cheesecake Factory. You can enter on either 7th or 8th Streets. The cost varies depending on day of week, time of day, and length of stay. |
