Huge drink selection Mar 09, 2009
Best time to go to The Chapel is during happy hour. Between 5pm-8pm, all martinis are only $5.

They have lots of reasonably priced small plates to choose from. The drink menu is extensive...probably one of the largest martini menus I've seen.

The crowd is mostly trendy yuppie types, but I felt comfortable going there. I was given primo service even though I didn't remotely come close to fitting into the general crowd.

The Chapel Bar is what you think of when you think of metro, hip, urban club scene. What once used to be a mortuary, is now a place to drink and be merry. The venue is not that big, but the mirrors that line the wall make it seem huge. They have your standard drinks from a bar, and have an assortment of food from a penini to mac and cheese. The mac and cheese is wonderful and the Maui Mojito (made with banana liquor) is very good. All prices are on the expensive side, but once you step in you realize this. I was there before the place became a dance club, but it has a live DJ on Friday and Saturday, so it must be pretty popular. Go before 9 pm though and enjoy a drink with friends.

The servers seem to sometimes think they are above you, so they can be rude and might not pay much attention to you.
