The less known sibling of the grand British museum, worth if you're on your 5th trip to London! Oct 27, 2012
The Cartoon Museum is easy to find even though it's not signposted. It's actually quite small, infact it almost looks like a little independent shop than a museum *museum*.

There was an exhibition going on in the ground floor on a comic strip called "Dandy" (which, sadly, I'd never heard of). The upstars has some areas for kids to pay, as well as the history of Dennis the Menace.

I really wouldn't recommend this musuem as a must-see. I don't know why, I just generally felt there wasn't enough, and it felt like a display of comics more than anything else. Having said that, I love visiting any display w.r.t literature, so it wasn't exactly a waste of time.

Must admit I've never heard of the comic strip 'Dandy' either. Dennis the Menace I have, but I see the British one must be different from the American one.
