The Cardiff International Arena Reviews
Sauna Nov 01, 2008
I went to the Cardiff international arena to watch Queen and Paul Rodgers. When we got into the arena i first thought it was rather warm and that they would start the air conditioning soon. But they didnt.
As we waited for the gig to start the heat got worst and worst and then when the gig started i was lucky enough to be able to take my mind off it.However alot of women there started passing out and it was getting ridiculous, the people who worked there would not open the doors up or do anything to help cool the place down which i thought was a disgrace.Surely people passing out was enough. But maybe that was all part of the plan for them to make people buy there small bottles of water for an extortionate £2.50.Even Brian May said it was ridiculously hot.
The gig i saw was brilliant but if im honest i was glad when it ended and got to go outside into the cold an cool down.Im not sure if its always like tha there but i wouldnt go and watch a gig there again out of principal.
