The Canyon Crown Pub Tucson Reviews
British Style Happy Hour Feb 12, 2010
The Canyon Crown Pub happens to be the only British styled restaurant and pub in Tucson. Located off the Tanque verde road in a shopping complex, it provides great service. Our co-organizer Carole brought the fun close to her British Heritage here.
Service was good, but the pub felt a little crowded having our group and the regulars all in. I must commend the service team for keeping tab on all our orders.
Prices were average, my rum and cola cost $6.00. They however had special prices for appetizers:
*Jumbo Pretzles: soft and fresh from the oven, served with a nacho cheese sauce for $4.95
*Irish nachos: seasoned waffle fries with melted cheese, bacon, green onions, and sour cream for $6.95
*Chicken wings: fresh marinated wings, served with ranch dressing, BBQ, Cajun, Spicy, Southwest bourbon for $8.95
*Southwest canyon dip: spicy baked spinach and artichoke dip served with fresh corn chips for $6.95
*Fried calamari: crispy fried calamari served with our own spicy cocktail sauce for $8.95
*Nachos: a large plate of fresh fried corn chips with mixed cheese, tomato, black olives, jalapenos, green onions, sour cream, and homemade salsa for $7.95
*Sweet potato fries: served with spicy southwest dipping sauce for $5.95
*Pub Footballs:jalapenos stuffed with a smoked shrimp cream cheese, wrapped with bacon, drizzled with honey soy sauce for $7.95
* Beer-battered onion rings: crispy beer-battered onion rings, served with ranch dressing for $4.95
*Fresh jumbo shrimp cocktail served with our own spicy cocktail sauce for $8.95
*Angus sliders: three fresh angus steak burger sliders with french fries for $8.95
Their servings were quite generous too.
