A candy lovers paradise! Jun 22, 2011
Wow! As you walk by, you smell the sweetness taking over the air that surrounds you. My friend and I were on our way to Little Anita's for lunch and the candy shop doesn't really stand out, but the aroma pulled us in.

I don't really have a sweet tooth, but the candy shop is full of all sorts of stuff. Fudge is their major pull and they have a large variety of fudge (chocolate, chocolate pecan, chocolate walnut, chocolate jalapeno, lemon, peanu butter, vanilla red chile and more!) They sell caramels, sugar free candy, truffles, dipped pretzels, marzipan, glazed fruits, nut clusters, mints, and licorice. They sell more items too and it all looked pretty, but for me, it was just stuff to look at-but then I stopped midtrack and saw caramel and almond turtles and I was in heaven. It was so good and all the ingredients were equally combined.

They even have a little naughty corner of anatomically shaped candies and accompanying cards and toys that are adult, but not completed XXX rated. It's not an area for children.

We stopped by the Candy Lady, went to get lunch and then came back for a second visit! It's only 2 or 3 blocks from the Old Town square, so please be sure to stop by!
The Candy Lady! Hooray!
