The Burren is a different and unique place to see. You may not have even known it was there or what it was unless you did any kind of research. The lunar-like landscape is in County Clare and its surely one of Ireland’s great attractions. The apparent bareness once had a forest but settlers to the area in the medieval times grazed their cattle and timbered the trees to the land was a skeletal landscape.
