not enter this old style drinking establishment.

I thought I would find Archie Bunker seating at the end of the bar.

The gentleman who was in a deep state of sleep at the end of the bar,

it was 11:15am, looked more like Archie’s brother more than Archie.

The barmaid who I can’t remember her name told me she had been

working there for 17 years. We got to talking she asks where I was

from, I said Florida, and she asked if I knew her sister Peggy in

Clearwater? AHH No She left to fill the orders of 3 men in suites &

ties who were deeply involved in a game of DOZENS. I scored it 7 to 4

for the skinny black dude.

What’s Her name came back with a faded envelope with ragged newspaper

clippings & pictures.

It was not always the Blarney Stone it was WALSH'S TAVERN in this 1941

picture.
