Situated in Wenceslav Square in the centre of Prague, The Beer Factory has a warm, friendly atmosphere. There are about 15 tables with taps in the center, in which you pour your own beer. On the wall projection screen shows the beer consumption of each table, thereby making it a competition. There is plenty of room to dance, and the bar offers great drinks if you are not interested in drinking beer. You can also order food from the kitchen. It was a fantastic start to our night.

After hearing rumours of this place in the hostel,just the name had intrigued me enough.But when i found out that you got to sit on a table and had your own beer on tap that you poured yourslef i was even more interested.
So i got chatting to some english guys that were heading there and we decided,we had to go there.I thought it was going to be an actual ''Beer factory'' it wasnt.It was just a normal sports bar really. But unlike other sports bars you were given your own chilled pint glass then sat down on a table,your pump unlocked and away you pump.If your not accustomed to pouring beer i would advise you get which ever person with you that can to do it so you dont waste money on froth. We drank and drank and drank and drank.I was thinking it was gonna be expensive but it was about £8 in the end and that was between four of us.Not bad really.Seeing as that would get me 3 pints if im lucky in england! Another early rise around 7am to get the bus to Prague,when we arrived in Prague we had abit of trouble finding the h…beer factory we hit some snags.On the metro stacey took a turn for the worse and whatever she had eaten made her ill and we had to jump off the metro quickly and i had to run around and find somewhere for her to be sick.We… For some reason i only took pictures at the zoo!?! |

I woke up in Vienna with my voice! I was so glad that I had lost my voice for only a day. It was an early morning, as we were getting on the bus to go into town before leaving the city. Day 18 started with questions about what had indeed happened to Ben and Jason. As it turned out, Jason was already out and checking us out of the hotel. Ben, on the other hand, no one really knew where he was. And we had to wait to find out becau…Beer Factory which was really cool. You pour your own beer from taps built into the table, and race other tables to see who can drink the most. And it was cheap too. It worked out to be CAN$1.45/liter. And it wasn't for rain. The tourguides around Prague have umbrellas that they hold up, and since I'm playing tourguide for my parents...
I met them at the airport since I knew how it all worked. I got there ridiculously early, but manag…beer factory, brought no samples home though. What they sell to bring home I could buy in the normal supermarkets. I saw my parents off at the airport, and it wasn't much longer before I'd leave Praha too. But it wasn… I need an umbrella... |
