The best part of living in Tel-Aviv it's that it's on the sea, and when you have an apartment like I usually have on the beach itself, then life is really good!

You can see how beautiful the beach is and how lively it is, usually close to sunset, when it's getting colder (it's 35 degrees celsius in the summer), and all the pretty girls of Tel-Aviv start to party on the beach ;)

We followed the promenade along the beach, where thousands of sun worshipers were already crowding the sands at 9:30am. We walked from our hotel (in the north) all the way down to the city of Jaffa, which is south of Tel Aviv. It was sunny, hot and humid, but the breeze… Bam! Pow! Shabat!

So we took a bus to Haifa, then train to Tel Aviv...then bus to Yafo where our free Sar-El hostel is...so close to the ocean! After dropping our stuff off, a group of us (myself, Ben (American), Bauke and Martijn (dutch), and Ruben (Belgian)...took a walk along the beach starting at edge of Yafo (near Beit Ha'Etzel)...and north to Tel AvivEmail from Israel #1 15, September 2005
