The Baba Hotel Reviews
treat yourself! Apr 14, 2009
After travelling for almost three months this was a really fabulous treat! Typical Baba-Nyonya cultural building with open stairwells and original features in the main hotel. Rooms have been very well modernised with en-suite bathrooms and aircon(bliss in this heat!) 120RM per night but if there's two of you it works out at approx.12 pounds each!!!!
Now I'm staying in the Tang Guesthouse which was renovated just before xmas - new floorboards, clean rooms and friendly service for 25RM per night! Not bad if you don't mind sleeping on a new matress n the floor.(Rooms have got aircon but a shared bathroom) Part of the Travels 2009 travel blog |

I did still get up early so I could do the city …Baba-Nonya Heritage Museum, Malaqua House (which is worth going inside to see the accumulated masses of beautiful antiques), Hotel Puri, Chee Mansion, and Baba House. These are interspersed with temple after temple as well. I passed by Eng Choan (Yong Chun) Association… A Day in Melaka |
