The Anndion Lodge and Apartment

The Anndion Lodge is located on Anzac Parade on the banks of the Whanganui River, just a short drive from the city center of Wanganui. I found this lodge on Hostelworld, but I never really trust the ratings until I am actually there.

The ratings on Hostelworld were high and after walking through the place with Dion explaining all the features, the ratings were well deserved. This is not a hostel by any stretch of the imagination. I think I stayed in a five star hotel, without the concierge of course, for the price of a hostel. The whole place was comfortable, inviting, modern, and clean. I think the price I paid was a steal and I would recommend this place for the budget traveler.

There's a pool, sauna, and a lovely garden out back. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and the hosts and guests were so friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
