The Andes Mendoza Reviews
Mendoza Apr 19, 2011
I just went to Mendoza to renew my visa. We stayed there for just one day and were a bit bored. Maybe it is nice when you like to go shopping, but for sightseeing it is pretty boring. The big park has a greek theatre, but you are not even aloud in. You can aks the security and he might let you in, but it is not open for tourists.
The athmosphere was nice, but the town itself is not really spectaculair.

High Mountain, trip to the viewpoint of the ACONCAGUA! Mar 02, 2010
My first review...Scary but hopeful!
The day i do this excursion was incredible, i never imagine those beautiful places!
Before anything, i must leave you a few tips:
-Take your camera and be sure that you have enough battery and memory card free!!! You will see a lot of beautiful places...
-This excursion goes up to the 4000mnsm so if you to get carsick or altitude sickness be careful...just in case!
-This maybe looks like a tip unnecessary but you will carry some warm clothes. Over the, mmmmmm, 3000msnm the temperature decrease signiticantly!!! For example, in the summer (december-march) in the "Cristo Redentor" (4000msnm) the temperature it's about 3°centigrade and it's really windy...And at the same time, in Mendoza city it's about 25°.
That's all i'll think could be useful information...
My day at The Andes: LOVELY!
For me, the best part, definitly was the viewpoint of the Aconcagua! It's tremendous! It's the top of all America, at 6,962 m (22,841 ft).
But Potrerillos, Uspallata, Penitentes, Puente del Inca and Cristo Redentor are amazing places to and i took a hundreds pictures!!!
If i ever come back to Mendoza i will do this excursion all over again!!!
I promese in the future, describe better the experience but as my english is not good and i'm practicing it's all i have for now.
