Alhambra-One of the best castle in the world May 08, 2012
On the third day of my arrival in Spain, I had the opportunity to visit The Alhambra Granada. This great architecture is one of great monuments in the world. It should not be missed when you happen to visit Madrid. It is advised to buy ticket in advance thru ticketmaster or arrive early morning to line up to get the ticket for one day tour. This attraction is definitely packed with tourists all day long. The establishment itself is divided into 3 huge areas, Nazrid Palaces, the ALcazaba and Generalife and tickets can be purchased separately if you just want to visit certain area. Once you are you are inside you are greeted by gorgeous gardens and beautiful flowers and water fountains with nice view of Alcazaba and city of Sacromonte. The paths inside the garden were built among hedges and parterres that lead us the courtyard and the reflection pool in Generalife area.

Once I was inside the Alhambra castle, it gave me some kind of awe. The entire place rustles with incredible Moorish architecture. It's staggeringly beautiful, with sensual, imaginative and inspiring architecture designs. The columns and arches with intricate details covered the exterior buildings while ornamented walls and archways covered the interiors and gorgeous and intricate decorations can be seen throughout the palace ceilings. It was told that near the end of the century long occupation of this Sierra Nevada region, artists and architects worked under Nasrid dynasty had achieved a marvelous style which then received Christian modification. It was King Charles V made some modification to the inside of the palace. The palace grounds are made up of rectangular courtyards and fountains that designed beautifully. The Nasrid building used to be the living area for the monarchs and their servants. The oldest building called Alcazaba. One courtyard that stands out and the most beautiful in the area called the Lions which covered with beautiful fountains.
