That's Amore 1 - Roma - TravBuddy

After a hectic day of sightseeing in Rome (Easter crowds everywhere and a power outage in the Colosseum being the cause of the chaos), it was nice to sit down to relax for a nice Italian dinner. We enjoyed a salad, various types of pizza (the surprise anchovi pizza was NOT my favorite, but you may like it) and a chocolate mousse dessert. The wait staff was so friendly, and they really made us feel comfortable and, they at least pretended to enjoy what they do. They made sure we had plenty to eat and drink, and they even took the time to joke with us a bit. Kathy's aunt, cousin and cousin's wife were able to surprise us and join us for dinner. It was a wonderful time for Kathy (Michael's mom) to be able to spend some time with her Italian family, and it truly was one of the highlights of the trip for Kathy that her beloved aunt (who is in her 80s) was able to meet up with us. It was also really nice for Michael and I to be able to meet her. The waitstaff was very accomodating to make sure there was room for our surprise guests at the dinner table that evening.
