Study Abroad program Fall of 2006 to Spring of 2007. Started in China for 5 months and then went to Europe where I traveled to 15 countries and 27 cities in 4 months. WOW.

Have traveled most of the countries around Laos but somehow this country eluded my list, not much news on this small country landlocked between China, Vientnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Mynamar. The only exception being that city of Luang Prabang which is part of the Unesco’s Heritage list, a nice laid back place to relax and with one of the nicest waterfall in Asia. No grandiose monument, or huge temples and may be even less museums. The real attraction is Nature that still remains unspoilt.

Hey there again,   The time is really flying here. The tour officially starts tomorrow night. I thought that I would have too much time in Bangkok. From the map I didn't think that I would have enough stuff to do. However things just pop up that are not listed so the time is going quickly.…

This is just the start of my postcard collection. I put these up quite awhile ago and just now got around to editing them and posting this. I have a lot more cards that need to be scanned and added, but this is definitely becoming one of my favorite hobbies! Thanks to Gooseberry for coming up with this grand idea!

I've been here a few times now, but I wouldn't mind skipping out. I find Bangkok to be very repetitive. It's big, dirty, and over-populated like other equivalent cities, but there is a lot of entertainment venues to keep you distracted. There's also, of course, a very big part of its tourist market…
