Last week I went for an oil massage (250 baht, 1 hour) in a rather dingy green, backroom of a massage shop in Ao Luk...whilst laying there semi naked I turned round to find one of the students I teach , she works there as a masseur - slightly embarrasing! Whilst the massage was…

2 relaxing weeks in Thailand.
I stayed in Patong Beach with its exciting nightlife. Beach was not the
best you can find in Thailand, noise because of jet-ski and
parasailing, etc... sunbeds and umbrella costs THB 200 for one day.
Trips to Phi Phi Islands, and Similan Islands are memorable , the…

Once you get out of Bangkok, Thailand is a beautiful country full of friendly faces, nice beaches and good partys. I stayed in the south visited Koh Phangan, Krabi, Railey Beach, Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Phuket. I found Koh Lanta to be the most relaxing, laid back. which was a very nice break after the full moon party and all the crowds in Phi Phi. Koh Lanta also had the best swimming beach in my opinion.

The other friends were just arrived when we (here) were changing to the wedding dress. Nui told us before "Please wear something that nice not like you come to travel, no shorts, no pants, no t-shirt. (another) Please!!"
It was difficult to find the thing you want in a short time.…

An army of moneys are mustered on a mission An intimate token rests ready to prove oneself The ring of a dying man A cloth dropped from the breast of thy love But the demons were all too powerful An so an intimate memory is entrusted unto a loyal friend His autenticity must be proven and…

Back in Bangkok we managed to fill another 5 days with some serious shopping/partying. We headed to the commercial centre of the city; modern, shiney, and fast. This place was full of shopping malls, flash cars, rich teenagers....and two very grubby, smelly travellers. We realised that we were a li…

We decided to stay in Bangkok for 3 more days as we couldn't get a cheap flight to Hong Kong for another 2 weeks and there are still things we wanted to see. It has really taken this last week just to get a bit more used to it. It's very hard to describe and the photos cannot convey the intense hea…
