This is definitely a hole in the wall type of place (in the University District, right next to University of Washington). With the open kitchen taking up about 60% of the restaurant it leaves enough room for about 15-20 at one time so expect to wait at night. It also makes it a great place for a date as the biggest table only seats 2. With that said this place is delicious! The food is always fresh and you can watch the chefs make the food right in front of you. The menu is limited but the Phad Thai is stunningly good. You can choose how spicy you want it (1-5). They only take cash and sometimes the music can be turned up loud, but its the price you pay for great food. Although it sounds like there are many negatives, the service is fairly good (about one little Asian lady working, but then again there are only 20 people) and the wait is definitely worth it. If you don't live around the University District you probably haven't heard of the place but it is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants ever.
