Thai Airlines Travel Reviews

Aug 12, 2007
I"m not generally a fussy flyer. As long as I have a ticket I'm a happy girl. Of course I try not to get the dreaded middle seat for long flights and all. I normally go with whatever airline is cheapest or can give me miles. During my trip to Bangkok I was a little limited in my options. I wanted as little lay-overs as possible to avoid luggage lost and didn't want to land at night for that dreaded first cab ride. So I paid a couple hundred more and flew direct with Thai Airlines. Best airlines ever! It was almost American standard first class in coach! It had tons of leg room and really great service. Warm towels and toothbrushes in the bathroooms are greatly appreciated on a 17 hour flight. The service was very friendly and food was great. The only thing is they don't let you sleep through meals. I'll just chalk that up to cutural differences. I highly recommend Thai for you next flight when possible. Only slightly more expensive most of the time but well worth it.

A taxi into central Bangkok will cost about 300 baht + the freeway tolls (50 baht) so if two or more of you ...
