This was going to be the last day in Dallas and I had to take Jaime touring the downtown area. Our first stop was the White Rock Lake, taking advantage that Mother Nature gave us some time without rain. The lake is nice and beautiful, and we enjoyed taking a walk there. Unfortunately we saw there w…

This place is just huge. I really enjoyed taking sometime to walk around and check out all the local items for sale. Dallas – I Wanna Go Home With The Armadillo
In my opinion, Texas has better songs written about it than any place in our country. I can’t even begin to list all of the great tunes that mention some aspect of the Lone Star State. Instead, on the next three pages, I’ll include…

This is my third trip to Amarillo. On the previous two trips (2004 & 2005), we mostly visited with Aunt Murrel. We spent a few hours at Wonderland Park and 10 minutes at the Cadillac Ranch, but I never felt like we did much. So this time, even though we had only a single …

This day was a little bit weird. After a quiet and uneventful Friday, I was expecting a much better Saturday. We were going to see the Astros Play in the evening so I had good expectations. Well, I woke up kinda late and I went to the same cyber cafe that I reviewed for the previous day. My car sta…

After the Ride is over people usually head first for a shower, and then to one of two places: either the massage tent where masseurs and masseuses are waiting to help rub those sore muscles and help make the aches go away; or to the pool created by Krause Springs. The Springs are especi…
