Teton Springs Lodge & Spa

We really lucked out when we found this place. A regular room cost around $350 per night, but we found a deal on expedia which must have been accidentally compounded when we checked in because it ended up only costing us $117 per night! At that price and with the quality of the hotel, I don't think I'll ever find a better deal.

The hotel is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, which we didn't find out until we found a catalog on the coffee table. It offers leather furniture for the living room with a wide screen LCD TV and DVD player. The kitchen comes complete with stainless steel appliances (full sized refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher), cookware, silverware, and china for the convenience of a home cooked meal. Each room comes with its own balcony which is large enough for the whole family and offers a great view of Grand Teton. The tub in the main bathroom has jets which give you a personal jacuzzi in the comfort of your own room. The secondary bathroom has a stand-up shower with glass doors that completely enclose the shower (with the fan on the inside), so that you can take a shower without fogging up the mirror or windows. In addition to the huge comfortable bed in the bedroom, there was an additional bed which could be pulled down from the wall. It was almost as comfortable and easy to stash to make more room during the day.

The only downside to this hotel is its physical location with respect to the main sites of Gran Teton and Yellowstone. Since it is on the West side of Grand Teton, you have to drive around the bottom of Teton to come back up through the park. It only takes about an hour though to get into the main part of the park.

Even if you can't get the same deal we did, this hotel is well worth it if you have time to enjoy everything the room has to offer.
