Testas Restaurant Reviews
Testa's Restaurant Aug 07, 2008
We walked up and down Main St in Bar Harbor reading all the outside menus, and found what we wanted at Testas. We were told there was about a 10-15 minute wait to be seated upstairs, but we could be seated downstairs immediately, so we chose that option. (There are great views of Bar Harbor from upstairs if you get a window seat) They had a "Maine Special" meal, which consisted of a basket of different kinds of bread, a salad, New England Clam Chowder, Maine Lobster with drawn butter and a side of long grain wild rice, and to finish it off, Maine blueberry pie ala-mode. They brought each course out just as we finished the previous helping, with no waiting in between. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! And, it was all only about $25 per dinner... very affordable for what we got. Overall, we had a great dining experiance here, so much that we went back again for the same meal on our last night in Bar Harbor!
