![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Affordable accomodation near the Las Vegas Strip Feb 22, 2008
I was very pleased with our stay at Terrible's. We were in the new tower and the beds are quite comfortable. The huge flat screen TV is very nice, although I did not watch much television. We had a view of the pool and I love the fact that you can open your sliding window. The rooms are standard with a nice bathroom, king bed, table with 2 chairs and dresser. They do have a coffee maker and for me that is a big plus, I hate having to go down to the casino in the morning for my first cup of coffee!! I loved the fact that you need your room key to use the elevator, no key and the elevator will not go up. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport and they have a gym and internet access on the second floor. If you want to go to the strip and do not have a car there is a bus stop across the street and it drops you off by Caesars and you catch the bus back by Bally's. The bus back stops right in front of the hotel.
If this is your first trip to Vegas you will want to do the whole strip thing, but if you are tired of all the crowds and hassle of getting around on the strip I would go to Terrible's. We did stay in the new tower, so I can not speak for the older part of the hotel. Terrible's is the owners name and does not reflect the stay you will have. Part of the Las Vegas travel blog |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Can't complain about the cost! Mar 23, 2008
They place was what you'd expect from a casino. Smells of smoke, very old decor. Our room was better looking than the casino floor! We had a huge room for some reason, our friend's on the other hand, their room sucked. :) The TVs in the rooms were massive though, but had a remote control on an extremely long cord, attached. That was obnoxious! The rooms were very clean though. BUT for the price, well thats what you get. Didn't eat there, friend's said it was bad. It is a mile off the strip, but again CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. If I were to go back for New Year's Eve, I would stay there again, only because of cost. Otherwise, I would stay on the strip, during a not so busy season. All in all, not Terrible. :) There is definitely better!
