I am a school teacher from Clearwater and we have always taken our summer vacations somewhere on the east coast. After the hurricanes of the last few years, we decided to go west.

We have stayed at the big nudist resorts in Florida and they are OK, but pretty expensive and charge really high membership fees. We like Haulover Beach down in Miami.

We have met people at Haulover and in Jamaica and they all said the same thing, Terra Cotta Inn in Palm Springs, CA is the best place out west. They are right.

We just got back from a week there and will be going back next summer. We love Palm Springs. It is such a cool town. Its midcentury modern architecture reminds us of the cool deco buildings in South Beach. You can go to http://palmsprings.com to see this cool town.

We love that there is no humidity and no rain. It is our first vacation in our lives where we were somewhere for a whole week and had no rain. No bugs like Florida too. We could sit outside in the evening and not have to spray ourselves.

The owners of Terra Cotta are the best. Tom and Mary Claire are so sweet and really go out of their way to take care of you.

Their pool and jazuzzi are salt water. We had never been in a salt water pool before and it is wonderful on the skin. They have the best water in town. I am sensitive to chlorine and had no reaction at Terra Cotta.

The guests are really friendly. When we went to the big nudist places in Florida, we rarely talked with anyone as we felt like outsiders since we were not members. At Terra Cotta we met people from England, Canada, Holland, New Zealand, and the US. They were all so friendly. We went out to dinner with a number of our new friends.

My husband liked the free wifi as he still had to check work e-mails on vacation.

Finally we loved the food. They give you free breakfast and afternoon wine and snacks. Tom is so cute walking into the pool serving strawberries in just his bowtie. The catered lunches and dinners are a great convenience for a couple nights where we didn't want to leave. The refrigerators and microwaves in the room are a nice touch for leftovers.

We also love that the pool and jacuzzi are open 24 hours a day as we woke up early as did many other guests being on east coast time.

Their prices are great, the beds devine, massages are heavenly, the best ever. Everything about Terra Cotta is first class. That is why we are going back next year.

If this is your first time at a clothing optional resort, you have to stay at Terra Cotta. It is not threatening, it is very safe. No guys hit on women like they do at the Florida places as they are just for couples. The guests won't laugh at you if you have tan lines.

If you want a fun vacation, this is the place.

Heel verl…… Palm Springs, een dagje later

After many hours in a stuffy car with half a dozen teenage boys, a driver in his mid-twenties, and a blown subwoofer, things were starting to smell a bit, so opening the car door to the fresh air of Palm Springs was a welcome thin…… Arrival

I've seen a lot of exclusive resorts and villas in my 'travails' around California, but the Coyote Inn, in Palm Springs, gives a completely new meaning to the words privacy and luxury. A Spanish hacienda with walled and gated grounds, and only seven…… Just Desserts At Coyote Inn Palm Springs
