Terminal Ofelia is the north bus terminal in Quito.
Here you can take buses to different places in the country, all of them in the north direction. It's easy to reach it using the trolley or ecovia. There are 2 popular services leaving from Ofelia: -buses to Mitad del Mundo -buses to Mindo (non stop) It's a big terminal. There's parking place, lot of taxis, the city buses stop and also a cafeteria.  Part of the First time in Ecuador, but definitely not the last one :) travel blog

It´s been a great few days back in Quito with the Gekko group. Our first day back we decided to go on a road trip up to the Cloud Forests 2 hours from Quito. A 6.45 start and we headed up to Ofelia bus terminal to catch the bus up to Mindo.&n…Ofelia bus terminal to catch the bus up to Mindo. For the princely sum of $2.50 we got a 2 hour bus ride up to Mindo. Weaving through the roads on the way was really spectacular, the road has been carved into the mounatin… Back in Quito but with zip lines and mozzies |
