Yes; if you go onto Buckland Beacon, just over half a mile from the church of Buckland-in-the-Moor, you can see it as well, although I must admit the lettering is nowhere near as distinct now as the website might suggest. There on two adjacent slabs of rock are the Ten Commandments!

No, it's true that htey have not been there since the time of Moses. Even so perhaps we should marvel that, written in 1928, they can be read at all rather than the fact that they are hard to decipher in parts. The website tells how the remaining space is filled.

While in the area, do go and look at the church, best known for the fact that instead of figures the hours of the clock read M Y D E A R M O T H E R.
