Always a good time Jun 17, 2011
When I went to Dublin a girl I met at my hostel showed me around the Temple Bar area. We were there at around dinner time on a Monday night but almost everywhere we went was lively and friendly. Whether you're a drinker or not it's the type of nightlife that everyone should experience.

Touristy but a guaranteed great time! Apr 17, 2011
We went out in Temple Bar every night during our 3 night stay in Dublin. Being from the states, we just wanted to go somewhere that was lively and fun! Well this is the place! Yes, I know it's touristy, but it's such a great area to meet other travelers in. Locals hang out here too so it's not like you're partying with ALL tourists. We went to loads of different bars...Temple Bar, Oliver St John Gogarty, The Auld Dubliner, Fitzsimons, and a few more. All beers tend to be around 5-6 euros which I guess it's a little more pricey, but we pay that in the states so we didn't mind. Most bars had live music which was awesome - really gave you that "Ireland" feel. We met loads of people and overall, we really, really enjoyed our nights out in Temple Bar!

Expensive but fun May 29, 2011
The Temple Bar area of Dublin is great fun during the day but very expensive to go out at night! Favourite pubs include 'The Temple Bar' & Gogarty's where you should find some traditional Irish music. I wouldn't recommend dining out every night in the area however unless you're on an all expenses paid trip!! As i said, it's good fun but pricey!!

Head to Temple Bar for some crazy drunken madness.. Its great for a few drinks, mighty craic (fun), its where all the tourist go, also loads of restaurants you can grab something to eat.. If you want to go cheap, just go into some of the supermarkets in town, like Supervalue or Dunnes Stores and get yourself a cheap sandwich or some hot food & then head back to Temple Bar for more pints of Guinness... Enjoy...

Try going to the Templ Bar area for food. There is a a hard rock cafe and other eateries. Also, Dame Street... I think ... yeah Dame street. Good luck!

Try Georges Street too, thats just off Dame St, also some nice bars around this area for after the food... Enjoy...
