Nice inexpensive bungalows in a quiet area with great snorkelling Jun 16, 2013
Teman-Teman Bungalows and Cefe is right on Jemeluk Beach though some of the bungalows are across the road. Jemeluk is a tiny town with lots of choice for dining, has a great beach for snorkelling and is the quietest place I found in Bali! You did not even have to look before crossing the road between my bungalow and the beach which for Bali is saying a lot. I was by myself, showed up with no reservations and haggled with the price to end up with a large bungalow which would have slept six for a very cheap price. It was clean with a nice bathroom and I found it quite comfortable. The owner was super friendly and the food at the restaurant was all very tasty. The beach itself is pretty though rocky with the sandy area having an incline to the sea. The snorkeling I found to be quite good and I have done a lot of snorkeling. The area offers diving, a bit of hiking and just a quiet retreat from the busy streets of Bali. I would definitely stay there again. There is not a website for them but the owner's email is firstname.lastname@example.org
