I didn’t spend much time in Tel Aviv,  flight arrival and departure excepted. I met a lovely Israeli on my way in, Noam, who had offered to show me around, but I decided to stick with my friend and her family. Guess I wasn’t that trusting, and besides, after years of not visiting with…

Some of you may have heard of the Hezbollah crisis: I was there in the midst! Many people hear about the turmoil in Israel, however, most people rarely hear of the hospitality of the people or of their amazing generosity. I experienced the Hezbollah crisis as well as the turmoil between the Arabs and the Jews as I traveled through uncharted territory and heard the story from the people who live it out on a daily basis. It is something that will forever be etched upon my mind.

Hello All,Today was travel day #1 on the journey back home.  I check out of the hotel, and got a 9am bus to Taba.  Taba is on the Egypt side of the Israel-Egypt border, and the bus dropped me off within sight of the border itself.  Very nice.  The border was easy, and I found a taxi to the Eila…

If you plan to come to Tel Aviv and have allways stayed in hotels than why not try staying at an apartment? My apartments are better equiped than a hotel room, are much bigger with a fully equiped kichenette, are located near the port and beaches of Tel Aviv and Sharon will give you a much better service than you get ellsewere. All that at a lower price than a hotel. For more info. please go to http://www.telavivrentalapartments.com
