 Opera history at La Scala Jun 25, 2006
La Scala is the most prestigious lyric theater. If you like the opera and lyric, you'd really look forward to assist to a show at this theater. Unfortunately, the shows are always booked in advance and they are expensive.
Although, you can visit this place since they also have a museum. This is what I did when I was in Milan. In the museum you will be able to see besides paintings of music instruments, the real antique ones. Also you will find a collection of theater- and music-related porcelains & precious ceramics. You will also find paintings of all the famous musicians, singers who had ever performed or whose work was part of the theater.
