Teatro Romano de Málaga Malaga Reviews
Historic Nov 09, 2010
Despite being built by Augustus in the first century, the theatre was only recently rediscovered in the 1950s. It was used until the third century, and its stonework was extracted by the muslims for their building purposes too.
The site, though not in it's fill glory, is very nice to visit nonethless. You can go fully around the site, which is nice, and best of all, it is free! There is a lack of information about the site nearby though, which is a pity. I also recommend visiting the place at night, as it takes on a different and special atmosphere.
If you will visit the main sites in Malaga, you will definitely pass this on your way. Therefore, with free admission, you'd be mad not to visit it!
