14 Rue Coquillere, Paris, France
Taverne Karlsbrau Paris Reviews
Really nice place Aug 06, 2011
We were heading out for dinner later in the evening and we were walking in the fabulous neighbourhood of the hotel. Following the wonderful Rue Coquillere we entered Taverne Karlsbrau, which is one of the many cozy cafes in street. The tavern is quite traditional but the front decoration is quite impressive and it was the front that made us visit the place.
Well situated outside even though the sun was not out we decided to go for a couple of mojitos. The drink was not bad but it had an aftertaste of pepper maybe even a dash of Tabasco, which was the first time for me. The café was more of a eating place and the window was full of fresh fish and seafood which all looked really appetizing, but we were heading for the Chartier for our dinner.
The café was definitely a place that I would head for again.
