I've been in Buenos Aires last April and I went to a one of the kind event. It was a wine tasting route... It's strange but the idea is super cool. The name is Wine Tour Urbano and it takes place every third Friday of every month.
In every shop -just clothes and decoration stores- a winery is installed and, together, they offer the wine tasting. YOu buy a glass -it's a crystal one and then you can take it home, I have mine as a souvenir- for $40 pesos and you try as much wine as you want or can. Every time they change the grape. Mine was Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. I tried 12 boutiques wineries and, let me tell you it was a fantastic experience. If you're in BA for any third Friday, believe me, you wouldn't want to miss it!

Brazilian wine tastes like cough syrup. Or take meat for example. Everyone knows how amazing meat is in Argentina , but the meat I had everywhere in Brazil was sub-par even to meat in the States. Even Brazil ’s mate (green tea) doesn’t compare to Argentina… Final Impressions of Brazil |

break to travel and am thinking about going to Mendoza (wine tasting and
mountain climbing and rafting) or La Pampa or Patagonia or Códoba... vamos a
ver. :)
