The Dutch Cheese and white wine was fantastic! just seat in the evening alone with white dry wine and the cheese, It is worth to go to Ams for white wine and cheese, don't tell me that clubs and nightlife is more important, somehow we are tire with the abnormal crazy life and sometimes you need to rest :)

The Australian Riesling Jul 03, 2010
The Riesling I tasted recently had a lemon and lime pith to it, it absorbs your senses as you smell it beofre drinking. It had a tangerine/ lemon taste to it which was quite impressive considering I'm not a white wine person. Cilled on a summer afternoon, nothing would beat the taste of this Australian Riesling.

The Reisling on this Saturday afternoon is from Betts & Scholl; it is a cooperation between Master sommerlier Richard Betts and Dennis Scholl, a contemporary art collector/ joyous wine drinker. Together they forged a special relationship with star growers and wine makers from around the world. Betts first took notice of wine while spending time in Florence, Italy. It was not until the summe rof 1996 however, when he actually decided to pursue a career in wine. He worked as a cook and then accepting a job as Sommelier at Janos in Tucson.

He spent 2 years as a sommelier at Janos, building up the wine in Australia, California and France. Originally European winemakers were the only "travelling winemakers", now it is just as common to see Americans venturing on to other continents in to express the American style of winemaking through another terrior.

A great choice for white wine, highly recommend if you love white wine.
