The capital city of the Netherlands is Amsterdam, but where it all happens (politically) is The Hague (Den Haag / ’s-Gravenhage). For a good view on the government building including the office of our prime minister go to a bar called Taste.
Taste is a wine bar. Don’t go to early, because most people come here after work. Around 4.30 pm it is going to be busy. Taste sells a variety of wines. I tried a few, they were very tasteful. It is a pity that sweet (dessert) wines are only sold by the bottle. Other wines you can buy per glass. I was told that big companies have stored their wines in this bar. It looks a bit like a wine safe. Before you leave go to the toilet. This wc looks very cool. Purple lights and a fluffy mini towel to dry you’re hands. It felt very luxurious. |
