Taste of Chicago in 2007 - 26th Annual expierence Apr 05, 2011
FOOD FOOD & just in case you forgot More FOOD! The great 2007 "Taste of Chicago Expierence",,,yes I conquered last year to this annual event to do what every local chicagoan, tourist, and annual fan does "Chow Down", lol. You will find fried, jamacian, mexican, puerto rican, deserts, beverages, geez everything just about. I even tried frog legs, alligator, and that familiar southern style food (cajun taste)>>>YUMMY!!! No complaints in that department. The fee could get up there if you like to go back for more and more throughout the duration it is open (Mid/June-July). I went a few times, and it got exspensive when you add it up, so worth it for all the right reasons, hehe.
Parking? Good luck, there are parking structures all over. Walking majority of the day, which is great to burn them calories. They even have musical performers (concerts) so check out the official site for that info and pricing. I know you could get an distant view but fighting crowds to watch,,,however you still could hear the performers. I had the opportunity to see Shekinah Glory a gospel choir perform outside for free. We praised & worshiped with all types of people together, awesome with no shame. Remember you have crowds of people who are desperate to see these musicians and I recommend keeping your wallet, purse, personal belongings close by. Which means carry necessary items folks. Have fun, it's Chicago for crying out loud. Cool for all ages.
**Trust no one under these circumstances**
