Tara Towers Hotel Dublin Reviews
For car owners or patient people! Apr 03, 2010
this hotel has a really bad location, it's far away from the centre of Dublin (way further than any reasonable walk distance). there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel entrance and it goes quite often, but still you have to wait.
rooms are amazing, big, bright, new furniture, very clean with nice bathrooms. big windows let light inside, and the view is really nice.
food is great, breakfast was HUGE, a lot of things to chose from (open table style). it's served for a long time so you don't have to worry to wake up in the early morning.
hotel is big, there is restaurant inside and a coffee shop, but no shops or restaurants around. if you need anything, you have to get to the centre.
we didn't like our room a lot because there was some kind of white-collars party at that time and we heard noises (laughs, music, talks) for the half of the night every night we stayed there. but that's probably not the usual there.
also we had a big problem at the beginning - the staff couldn't confirm our reservation and we had to wait for three hours for this issue to be fixed. but they were really nice for us and tried to be helpful as much as possible.
all in all, it's a good hotel for someone who likes luxuries, big spaces and has a car (or is not afraid of every-day bus taking).
