Tao: The Restaurant Las Vegas Reviews
'Very Expensive' fab food for 'Expensive' pricetag May 29, 2011
Most of the fancy restaurants in the fancy casino hotels on the Vegas Strip come with a very fancy price tag (i.e. $300+ for two entrees, sides, a glass of wine per person). Of course the food is spectacular but if you're looking for just-as-tasty for not-as-pricey, 'Tao' at Venetian is a great choice.
This is a sea-food, Asian-inspired restaurant where you can get an app, entree, sake, and dessert for half of what the aforementioned fancy places cost (so apx $150 for 2 diners). And the service is just as superb, if not moreso.
So if you're in the mood for a fancy fish dinner, head on over (I highly recommend the Chilean Seabass and Sake Sampler btw)! They also have a popular dance club if you're wanting entertainment after supping.

OMG ONE OF THE BEST PAN ASIAN INFUSION FOOD Sep 19, 2008
Melissa (melissa919) wanted to have her birthday here. i have never been here before. i only go to the club. i was very sketchy about coming here. i am not a big fan of trendy restaurants on the strip that are attached with a nightclub.
i like the setting of the meal. the entrees are family style. the appetizers are also sharable. the 4 of the 5 of us shared a 2 Chilean sea bass and a new york prime rib sirloin for dinner.the other one had a low mein pork rice dish. OMG the sea bass was very moist and melted in my mouth the sirloin was tender and juicy. not bad of medium cooked.
the 4 of the 5 of us shared THE ORGASMIC KOBE TARTAR TEMPURA, we all took photos of our ecstasy HAHAHA. i was savorying mine. it was very lighty crusted the kobe beef was tender as always. melissa even ate it and she can't stand rare meat.
we also had the crispy tuna sashimi roll, WOw that was yummy too. crispy rice with a flavorful tuna. lobster wontons with shitake mushrooms ginger broth, WOW this was outstanding, i could just eat that and i am happy. the ginger roth did not over power the flavor of the lobster, peking duck spring roll, this was so so, nothing special and it was way too salty and spicy tuna roll, this was uniquely made, it was deep fried tempura on the outside.
OMG I WOULD GO BACK TO TRY OTHERS, HOWEVER THE KOBE TARTAR TEMPURA IS ALL I WANT AND I AM NOT SHARING!!!!!! HAHAHAHA
