The best BYOB restaurant hands down Dec 22, 2008
I've been going to this place for years now and it is one of my favorite restaurants all time, not only in Chicago but everywhere i've traveled to. Its a Argentinian Restaurant that is BYOB and has a great ambiance and vibe. Expect to see couples, groups of young adults celebrating life, birthdays, girls night out, friends out to dinner at this casual spot. Its dark, candlelit and when you walk in the place you can feel the energy. Its fairly loud but you can still hear the other person talking. I highly recommend the churasca or the "para dos" which is a meat platter for 2 people. Food is reasonably priced ($10-$20) and there is no corking fee. They dont take reservations but while you're waiting you can pop open your bottle and drink so bring plenty.
