tango dancing update Aug 27, 2009
HI folks,

I've just find a new place where you not only can dance and enjoy tango, but also get the taste of best uruguayan wines.

The place is MUSEO DEL VINO, on Maldonado street, just 4 blocks away form the Main 18 de Julio Ave.

On fridays there are Tango Shows with live musicians. Thursdays and Fridays you can dance after the shows.Really nice atmosphere and people.

You can have a bottle of very good wine for $10!

Don't miss it if you like this passionate dance

Truly tango dancing not specially made for tourists Feb 17, 2009
There is a club by the name of Joventango (Youthtango)that organizes this "milongas" (tango dancing sessions)every sunday. Members get toghether just for the fun of dancing this beautiful dance. If not a member you can get in for $3 and have a drink, eat typical "parrillada" on the bars and restaurants around the dancing place. If you are a dancer do not miss it!

If you do not know haw to dance tango, there are teachers that will lead you for a small fee (tango lessons go throughout the week also).
